Tech Vaca in Vegas: Reflecting on MJBizCon 2021

Last week, the Tech Vaca team traveled to Las Vegas to exhibit at MJBizCon 2021. Described as the "largest gathering of cannabis business professionals in the world," the conference included three days of learning, networking, dealmaking, and lots of walking. Attendees had access to an incredible lineup of speaker sessions and more than 1,000 exhibitors offering an array of industry services across over 250,000 square feet of expo floor. Tech Vaca made the most of MJBizCon, using the opportunity as an exhibitor to meet with new and existing connections, and explore as many of the other exhibitor booths as possible.

Tech Vaca booth was the star of the show – in our humble opinion. The team went all out with a tropical theme, from palm trees to branded Hawaiian shirts, which turned into a fantastic amount of exposure. Our swag included face masks, hand sanitizer, tote bags, and more. The crowd favorites, however, were the Tech Vaca t-shirts, which people grabbed by the handfuls!

The booth had a ton of foot traffic with an estimated 27,000 attendees, and we were thrilled to meet so many people over the week! Overall, it was so good to see people face-to-face again, and the expo floor was buzzing with excitement and passion for this growing industry.​

Continuing with the tropical theme, Tech Vaca ended the week hosting a happy hour at Margaritaville Las Vegas. Thank you to everyone who came out for a fun, island-themed evening of drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and conversation – the entire Tech Vaca team had a blast connecting with you all! 

Overall, Tech Vaca's first MJBizCon was an enormous success. We're incredibly grateful for our team, all the attendees who came by our booth, and exploring new partnerships – now we're excited to see what next year's conference has in store for us!
